The Emgwenya Mountain Club is a registered n on-profit organisation based in Waterval Boven that was started in 2012. T heir primary objectives are to get more of the Boven youth climbing\, hiki ng\, and kloofing. Thanks to the fundraising efforts in 2022 the club was able to establish its first local climbing wall earlier this year. At the moment the club is running weekly climbing sessions both on rock and at th eir local wall. They have a regular group of fifteen children that attend ranging from eight years old to seventeen. In order to aid them further\, all the proceeds from our friendly competition will go towards assisting t hem. We appreciate your support in this community based initiative!
