Overview
Fast, simple and accurate, A-10 baseplate compasses are quick to learn and ideal for navigating with a map and compass. For calculating the distances, A-10 has both metric and imperical scales printed in red to stand out on topographic map.
The Earth’s magnetic field does not flow evenly between the magnetic poles along the surface of the planet. To overcome this, A-10 has two variants with needles balanced for either the northern or southern hemisphere.
