Open Day Free Intro - CPT

We’re opening the doors to EVERYONE on Saturday 31 January 2026 from 09:00 to 18:00!
With FREE entry and FREE intro courses running throughout the day, it’s the perfect chance to bring your friends, show them the walls, and maybe even pick up some new belay buddies.
Note: regular gear rental rates apply for those not participating in intro courses on open day.

This course covers everything you need to know to climb on our roped high walls and get your CityROCK belay tag – perfect for complete beginners (age 13 and up) and those looking to start their climbing journey!
The course is 1 hour long.
The course includes:
- Gear rental (shoes & harness)
- Top rope climbing safety procedures
- Top rope belay & climbing skills
- Auto-belay safety procedures
- Free climbing after the course
Cost: R270 per person FREE (31 January 2026 only)
Kindly take note of the following in preparation for your visit:
- Please make sure that you have booked at the correct branch, we have three!
- Fill out a waiver and verify it with a valid ID. We recommend doing this online in advance, but you can also complete the waiver at the gym. Everyone must do this, even spectators.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your booking.
- Climbing shoes need to be worn at all times on the walls. Please note that shirts must be worn at all times in the facility.
